Providence Bay War Memorial Community Arena

The Summer operating season is used to run the summer fun program and providence bay spring bay recreation drop in game nights and special programing. The concrete has painted lines for badminton, basketball, volleyball, pickle ball.

The space is available and used for summer markets, weddings, and festivals.

The winter operating season at the Providence Bay Arena is from Mid December until the end of March and is the host site for the Pearson Brother Memorial and the Bradly McAllister sportsman 4 on 4 hockey tournaments.

Special programing is offered during the Christmas Holidays and during the Spring School Break in March and sponsored by local businesses and community service groups to help promote healthy active living. 

All ice programming and operation is subject to weather and safe ice operating conditions and is monitored daily and managed by arena staff. The operating season can change quickly depending on service levels and outside weather conditions.

The Arena has 4 dressing rooms that include shower facilities.

Upstairs rental space used for meetings, small bar area with fridges and spectator viewing area during hockey games and tournaments.

The winter operating hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 8am to 11pm

2023-2024 Rates:

• One time rental, $65/hr (including HST)
• Regular scheduled rentals, $60/hr (including HST)

October – March for ice rentals call 705-377-4090
