Central Manitoulin Christmas Celebrations
Celebrate the start of the holiday season with Christmas in Central Manitoulin! Held annually on the last Saturday in November, this cherished community tradition brings residents and visitors together for a full day of festive activities throughout the municipality.
The celebration features shopping promotions and incentives at local businesses, a holiday market, the Santa Claus Parade, a community tree lighting ceremony, a Santa meet-and-greet, and free public skating. With something for all ages, Christmas in Central Manitoulin is the perfect opportunity to shop local, enjoy family-friendly activities, and celebrate the magic of the season with friends and neighbours.

Central Manitoulin Christmas Parade in downtown Mindemoya starting at 6:30 pm. Parade starts at the Manitoulin Inn heading south, turns onto Douglas Street, turns onto Hwy 542 at the Post Office and heads east and ends at the Mindemoya Community Centre parking lot. The Community Christmas Tree Lighting is downtown Mindemoya at the four corners at Island Home Outfitters. Tree lighting starts at 7:30 pm following the parade. Caroling, music and more.
