Community Engagement

The Municipality is committed to serving the community and seeks community engagement and public input on various municipal projects and initiatives. This engagement is done in a variety of ways including townhall meetings and surveys. Invitations for community input will be posted here when available.

Members of the public may have an opportunity to express their view in relation to items appearing on a Council or Committee agenda by following the established process in the Municipality’s Procedural By-Law.  Learn more about requesting to appear as a delegation.

Council establishes Advisory Committees on an as needed basis. These committees have volunteer members from the community and are established to gain community input on a specific issue. Each committee is governed by their Terms of Reference approved by Council to provide direction on the scope of the committee work.
