2026 Municipal Election Candidate Nominations Open

The Municipality of Central Manitoulin will hold its 2026 Municipal Election on Monday, October 26, 2026.

If you are interested in serving your community as a member of Council, candidate nominations are now open. Nomination packages have been available since Friday, May 1, 2026, and the nomination period will close on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

Nomination packages can be picked up at the Municipal Office or by contacting Denise Deforge, CAO/Clerk, at ddeforge@centralmanitoulin.ca.
