Central Manitoulin Swimming Lessons
Register for Central Manitoulin Swimming Lessons!
Our swimming lesson program offers children 3 years of age and older the opportunity to build confidence and develop lifelong swimming skills through the Lifesaving Society’s Preschool and Swimmer Programs.
Lessons are offered during July and, depending on instructor availability, may continue into August. Classes are held at the Government Dock Beach, located at 10 Will-O-Wisp Way, Mindemoya, and are led by a Lifesaving Society certified instructor. The program welcomes both beginners and young swimmers looking to build on their existing skills through hands-on, in-water instruction that develops swimming strokes, water safety skills, and incorporates Lifesaving Society Water Smart® education at every level.
The program consists of 8 to10 half-hour lessons over a two-week block, with lesson times available between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Lessons are typically offered on a one-on-one basis to provide individualized instruction and support.
The registration fee is $50 per child. Registration is required, spaces are limited, and priority registration is given to residents of the Municipality of Central Manitoulin.
