Canada Post Strike Impact at the Municipality of Central Manitoulin
Due to the ongoing strike of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), Canada Post will not be picking up, processing or delivering any mail. This is impacting mail services to and from the Municipality of Central Manitoulin. Residents, businesses, and community groups should use alternative delivery services for any mail being sent to the Municipality to ensure its delivery and the Municipality will work diligently to find other options for delivering property taxes and/or water utility bills.
The Municipal Utility Bills have now been processed. Please stop by or phone the Municipal Office to review your bills or account balance, and/or make a payment.

Please be advised that Committee and Council meetings for May 2024 have been changed to accommodate Councilors attending the Federation of Northern Ontario Municipalities (FONOM) Conference.
Due to the expected amount of rain fall anticipated throughout the weekend, please be mindful of low-lying ditches, creeks, and waterways. The Municipality asks all residents and visitors to be cautious as they head out on their weekend plans.
