Canada Post Strike Impact at the Municipality of Central Manitoulin
Due to the ongoing strike of the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW), Canada Post will not be picking up, processing or delivering any mail. This is impacting mail services to and from the Municipality of Central Manitoulin. Residents, businesses, and community groups should use alternative delivery services for any mail being sent to the Municipality to ensure its delivery and the Municipality will work diligently to find other options for delivering property taxes and/or water utility bills.
The Municipal Utility Bills have now been processed. Please stop by or phone the Municipal Office to review your bills or account balance, and/or make a payment.

Please be advised that Splashtown Manitoulin removal process will take place on the evening of August 21, 2023 and during the day on August 22, 2023. Splashtown staff will be floating the individual pieces of the park into shore, deflating them and loading them onto a trailer on the Government Dock beach parks grass area.
July 24, 2023 Mindemoya, ON – Eastlink updated today that its fibre expansion work in Ontario continues to progress with the recent completion of its fibre network in Mindemoya, part of the federal government’s Universal Broadband Fund program.
