    of Central Manitoulin passed Comprehensive 
    Zoning By-Law No. 2024-12 on August 28, 2025 
    under Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 
    1990, as amended.

    Please be advised that the municipal office will be closed on Monday, September 29th, 2025 from 9:30 am - 2:30 pm to allow staff and council to attend training.

  • Urgent - Space Needed for Canada Post Office

    Canada Post is urgently seeking a commercial space to rent in the Providence Bay area. 

    Space requirements include:

    • Accessible location with parking
    • Suitable for customer service & mail operation

    If you have space available or know of one, please contact the Municipal Office at 705-377-5726.

    We need to secure a location as soon as possible to keep serving our community without interruption.

  • Due Date Error on Final Tax Bill

    Please be advised that there was an error on the recently issued property tax bills. The due date for the first installment should read August 29th, 2025, not August 1st as printed. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused and appreciate your understanding.

  • Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event

    This year's Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event will be held on July 19th from 1 pm - 4 pm at the Mindemoya Roads Building. For more information, please contact the Municipal Office at 705-377-5726.
