Central Manitoulin Municipal Council

Central Manitoulin Council is comprised of the Mayor and six Councillors. This term of Council started on November 15, 2022, and ends November 14, 2026.

All council members are elected for a four-year term of office. Council is all elected at two per ward by eligible voters of the Municipality. The Municipality is an amalgamation of three former townships which are the three wards.

  • Ward 1 – Campbell Township
  • Ward 2 – Carnarvon Township
  • Ward 3 – Sandfield Township

Members of Town Council meet at regularly scheduled council meetings throughout the year. Special council meetings are as needed. All Council and Committee meetings are governed by the Procedural By-Law.

The last municipal election was on Monday, October 24, 2022. The next municipal election will be Monday, October 26, 2026.

In Person and Video/Teleconference Council Meetings

You can join in person in the Council Chambers or by Zoom video/teleconference software. You must be on the agenda to be able to speak at a Council meeting.
