Road Closure Notice
Due to significant flooding caused by rapid snowmelt and heavy rainfall, some roads within the Municipality of Central Manitoulin are currently closed to ensure public safety.
The following roads are closed until further notice:
- Blue Road (from Cress Road to Yonge Street)
- Britainville Road (from White Church Road to Old Mill Road)
- Beaver Road (from Hartley Sideroad to Grimesthorpe Road)
Barricades have been placed at affected areas. Please do not attempt to drive through flooded roadways as water levels and road conditions can change quickly and may pose serious risks.
Municipal crews are actively monitoring conditions and will reopen roads as soon as it is safe to do so.
