Mindemoya Arena Open for the Season

The Municipality of Central Manitoulin is pleased to announce the J.H. Burt Memorial Arena (Mindemoya Arena) is open for skating! We thank the public for their patience while Parks and Recreation Crews worked diligently during the unseasonably warm weather to create ice and open the facility. 

Ice Bookings

The Municipality is currently taking bookings for ice rentals and the arena will be available:

• Monday to Friday 8 am to 11 pm 
• Saturday 8 am to 6 pm 
• Sunday Closed

For arena ice bookings please call the arena and leave a message at 705-377-6648.

A minimum of two full business days is required for any changes to the ice schedule. All last minute cancellations are subject to full ice fees.

Sponge Puck and Public Skating 

• Sponge Puck - Saturdays 2 pm to 3 pm 
• Public Skating - Saturdays 3 pm to 4:30 pm
