Drinking Water Advisory Update as of April 15th, 2026

Public Health Sudbury & Districts has advised the Municipality that the Drinking Water Advisory will remain in effect until flooding conditions have subsided.
Although the water treatment plant is producing safe, potable water, flooding may compromise the distribution system throughout the community. As a result, residents are to continue following all Public Health recommendations and not use municipal water for drinking or food preparation until the advisory is lifted.
Potable Water Access:
Potable water will now be available for residents at the Mindemoya Water Treatment Plant located at 61 Old Highway 551, Mindemoya, free of charge. Please bring your own containers where applicable.
Bottled water will remain available at the Municipal Office for those who do not have access to containers.
The Municipal Office will be open until 7 pm for the remainder of the week for water pickup.
We appreciate your continued patience and cooperation as we work through this situation.
Updates will be shared as they become available.
