Drinking water advisory issued for the Town of Mindemoya
Update as of April 15th, 2026: Public Health Sudbury & Districts has advised the Municipality that the Drinking Water Advisory will remain in effect until flooding conditions have subsided. Although the water treatment plant is producing safe, potable water, flooding may compromise the distribution system throughout the community. As a result, residents are to continue following all Public Health recommendations and not use municipal water for drinking or food preparation until the advisory is lifted. Potable water will now be available for residents at the Mindemoya Water Treatment Plant located at 61 Old Highway 551, Mindemoya, free of charge. Please bring your own containers where applicable.
