Public Meeting Scheduled for February 11th, 2026
The Municipality of Central Manitoulin will be hosting a public meeting to gather community input on the future of the Providence Bay arena and Spring Bay Hall. Residents are invited to attend, ask questions, and share their perspectives directly with Council.
The meeting will take place on February 11th, 2026, at 7:00 pm, at the Providence Bay Hall.
Members of the public who wish to speak may register in advance and will be provided up to five minutes per speaker. If time permits, after all registered speakers have had and opportunity, the floor will then open to individuals who have not pre-registered.
To assist Council in preparing thorough responses and to better ensure questions are being answered, residents are encouraged to submit their questions in writing in advance by February 6th, 2026.
Those wishing to register to speak and/or to submit their questions may contact the CAO/Clerk by email at ddeforge@centralmanitoulin.ca. People can also drop their questions off in person at the municipal office.
This meeting will be held in person and will be recorded.
