Planning ahead! The Central Manitoulin Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting backup date will be Sunday December 4th. IF there are high winds & rain Saturday, the Parade and Tree Lighting will be moved to Sunday December 4th, 2022. All other events will go ahead Saturday. An announcement will be made by 2pm on December 3rd.
The Municipality of Central Manitoulin is located in the centre of Manitoulin Island with an abundance of lakes, rivers, and beaches. The Municipality includes the villages and hamlets of Mindemoya, Providence Bay, Spring Bay, Sandfield and Big Lake.
