The repairs/replacements have gone ahead as scheduled after delayed parts came in. There was a plant test/start up last week. The Maintenance staff has begun putting ice in and at this point teh Municipality plans to have ice in by end of November with regularly scheduled programming able to begin Monday December 5th, 2022.
We have a public skating booked on December 3rd for the Annual Central Manitoulin Christmas Celebration which will serve as a good test, and Maintenance plans to use Sunday December 4th to touch up the ice, etc. to resume regular booking availability by Monday December 5th, 2022.
