Water main flushing is undertaken to prevent the buildup of sediment pockets and improve Water Quality.

Water main flushing may result in the water showing sediment and discoloration when the crews are working in your area. This sediment is not considered a health concern.

If you experience dirty water, simply run your cold water taps and garden hoses until the water runs clear to ensure you maintain good Water Quality.
