  • The list of essential workplaces has been updated and now includes the specific exclusion of Seasonal Campgrounds. Meaning they cannot open during the emergency measures implemented.  See Services> 13. in the link below.  If you are not on this list you must be closed by 11:59 p.m. Saturday April 4th, 2020.

  • There is now a fire ban on in the Province of Ontario to reduce strain on resources and personnel.

A Little About Central

The Municipality of Central Manitoulin is located in the centre of Manitoulin Island with an abundance of lakes, rivers, and beaches.
