Meeting notice for Thursday, May 25th, 2023 at 6:30 P.M.
At 6:30 there will be a public meeting to consider an Amendment to the Official Plan (OP) for the District of Manitoulin, Section C.4.1.4, to permit the construction of a Retail Store/Warehouse (370.9 sq. m.) and weigh scale (109.8 sq. m.) related to Agriculture uses at 361 Hartley Side Road. The OP permits small scale agriculture related Commercial type uses in the Agriculture Area. The lot has been designated as being in a Prime Agriculture Area. Page G-27 under section 119 of the OP defines small-scale as a structure not exceeding 250 sq. m. in area.
At 6:45 there will be a public meeting to consider the municipal zoning amendment for the above mentioned property.
