Pearson Cup Ball Tournament Planned June 17 to 19, 2022

Wednesday, February 9, 2022

The Pearson Cup Ball Tournament volunteer committee recently announced on Facebook that planning for the popular blooper ball tournament is underway.

One of the organizers Karlene Scott stated "Save the Date! June 17th 18th 19th. 2022! Pearson Cup is in early Planning stages!! Book your holidays! Get your team organized!"

Pearson Cup is a popular social tradition in Central Manitoulin. It was first started in 1983 and brings hundreds of visitors to Central Manitoulin creating economic spinoffs for local business. Proceeds often go to maintaining and upgrading the ball fields in the town of Mindemoya. The Municipality of Central Manitoulin thanks the volunteer organizers and participants that have made the tournament so successful over the last 40 years.
