New COVID-19 Cases in our Public Heath Districts 07/30/2020

Thursday, July 30, 2020

Within the past week and a half there have been 22 new cases mostly in the Greater Sudbury area.  As a community we are reminded to stay steadfast in our social distancing, hand washing and mask wearing protocol.  Please adhere to these and other amended health and safety protocols that may be in place in local businesses and gathering locations.

Public Health Sudbury and Districts (PHSD) is currently your best source of information for best practices and information regarding COVID-19 and we recommend following all policies and procedures set forth to keep us all safe and healthy.

Additionally, there has been a reported linked case to the "Manitoulin Golf" course in Gore Bay, ON where a household family member of a recently tested positive COVID-19 case had been at this location. Precautions and mitigation measures were announced and implemented immediately at this location.  The precautionary measures and other information updates can be found on the homepage of the Golf Course page at
