Happy Canada Day, Central Manitoulin! This is a reminder message that due to the current public health situation there will not be any Municipal celebrations including fireworks, through the Discovery Centre Board this year in Providence Bay. The fireworks for Providence Bay have been postponed until later in the year. The Central Manitoulin Lions Club has also cancelled their Homecoming celebrations in Mindemoya, including fireworks and parade. Please be safe this Canada Day and beyond, we all look forward to bigger and better celebrations next year. Also, please note that the Municipal Office will be closed Wednesday, July 1st for Canada Day.
