Guidelines

  1. Background
    The following rules are measures put in place to reasonably protect members of the public when they are attending or using the Providence Bay Arena under the new restrictions implemented by Public Health Sudbury & Districts for December 11, 2021.
  2. General COVID-19 Safety Rules

All other rules stay in place, proof of vaccine for age 12 plus, Two metre distancing, masks, contact tracing.  Two metres physical distancing same as before with the exception of caregivers (parents and children) tying skates etc.

  1. Capacity

Ten (10) total skaters on the ice. Ten (10) total spectators in the lobby. Limit of one (1) parent or guardian per child.

  1. Booking

Phone 705-377-4090 and leave a message to book a public skating registration. Leave your name, number, public skating time, number of skaters and number of spectators.

  1. Arrival, Departure Times

Entering the facility 15 minutes before the start of the event. Depart the facility within 15 minutes following the event.

  1. Masks within the facility

Participants and spectators are required to wear masks at all times during public skating.

  1. Dressing Rooms

Only 5 people permitted at a time per dressing room. As many dressing rooms deemed necessary will be opened and used.

  1. Washrooms

All washrooms limited to one (1) person at a time.

  1. Social Distancing on Ice

Participants are expected to remain two metres apart unless in the same family unit.
