2021 Mobility Mat Extension at Providence Bay Beach!

Thursday, March 4, 2021
The Providence Bay/Spring Bay Lions Club President John Bisaillon presents a cheque for $3500 to Marcus Mohr, Community Development and Outreach Coordinator at Central Manitoulin for 1 of 2 additional Mobility Beach Mats to be installed on Providence Bay Beach in 2021. The project is a joint effort between the Municipality and this Lions Club to extend the network of mobility mats closer to the waters edge. Central Manitoulin will be covering the cost of the 2nd mat and ongoing maintenance. Mobility mats allow persons with mobility issues as well as families with strollers and other devices to access the beach area making it enjoyable to all who visit.
