Every Year, over Father’s Day Weekend, teams gather for the annual Pearson Cup Softball Tournament. The tournament regularly sees 30 plus mixed teams, from either the Sportsman or 35ers Division, converge at the Old School House Park and Ball Fields.

The Central Manitoulin Lion’s Club Annual Homecoming Weekend is one of Mindemoya’s most colourful events. It features a parade, a classic car show, kids games, a family bike-a-thon, great food and entertainment, exhibits and a baseball tournament.

Homecoming Weekend occurs over the Canada Day Weekend and includes birthday celebrations and a large fire works display at the Old School House Park.

Be sure to attend the fireworks and Canada Day Festivities at the Interpretive Centre in Providence Bay held annually on July 1st.

The Providence Bay Fall Fair, held the third full weekend in August, is one of Manitoulin’s most popular events. Since 1884, this country fair has attracted 5000 guests each year. Exhibits include craftwork, baking, fruits and vegetables, floral arrangements and a quilting display.

Hosted by the Providence Bay Agricultural Society, the Fair includes a midway, pageant, parade, light horse competition, heavy horse pull and entertainment for the whole family.

Spring Bay hosts an annual Blooper Ball Tournament held the weekend following Labour Day in September.

There are also many other community events held annually at local community centres
