The Manitoulin Health Centre has two sites - Little Current and Mindemoya. The Mindemoya site has 14 acute care beds, and a 24-hour around the clock emergency room staffed by nurses and on-call physicians.

Doctors' offices are situated in the basement of Mindemoya Hospital, with a full complement of physicians, tand a nurse practitioner on staff. There is a physiotherapy department and an x-ray department, as well as ultrasound. A helicopter pad in the back provides ½ hour accessibility to Sudbury and 1½ hour access to Toronto. A land ambulance based next to the hospital provides 24 hour around the clock emergency transport.

Other health services include:

• A dental office is open in Mindemoya with a dentist who operates his own practice.
• The Manitoulin Chiropractic Office is also situated in Mindemoya.
• The CNIB Eye Van provides examinations on a yearly basis.
• There are two veterinarian clinics, for large and small animals. One of the clinics provides home and farm visitation service.
